Is approaching women on the street weird?

I get asked this question a lot, so let’s break it down.

Let’s start with this – is it normal to approach women in a club?

It’s a standard practice to approach women in club, but what really is a difference between a street and a nightclub?

Nightclub is a socially engineered place with alcohol, loud music and darkness to facilitate people meeting each other and minimize the impact of rejection – but what if you don’t need all of that?

If you take away the alcohol, darkness and loud music – it’s just another place where strangers meet.

Let’s take it a step further.

Dating apps now are socially acceptable place to meet but 15-20 years ago that wasn’t the case.

Back then if you were on a dating portal – you were judged a lot by the society and considered a weirdo.

Now with Tinder/Bumble arriving and everyone going online – that’s the norm.

So what is considered “normal” in the society changes with time.

I will leave you with this…

If going up to a girl in a sincere and authentic way without alcohol or hiding behind a screen, introducing yourself and putting yourself out there – if this is considered NOT normal..

Well then I refuse to be normal 😉
